NAME: Jeff Anderson

jeff@jeffdavisanderson.com

BORN: June 21st, 1977 in Houston, Texas (but grew up in Kansas City)

FAMILY: Wife - Nikki, Children - Atlee, Beckett, Avalon

HOBBIES: Spending time with my family, running, playing cards, enjoying all Fort Worth has to offer.

WORK: I work as a realtor in the Fort Worth area and maintain a license in marriage and family counseling.

FAVORITE...

  • BOOKS: I love anything that engages my soul. Celebration of Discipline is my all time favorite.
  • MOVIES: So predictable, but Braveheart and Lord of the Rings always stir me...
  • MUSIC: Foreman's Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer are still getting a lot of play.
  • STARBUCKS DRINK: Just a Venti black coffee with no room for cream.

YOUR HISTORY @ TCBC: We came to TCBC the day it started, well for that matter, months before. We had our son Beckett within weeks of the church starting. It is home and family in so many ways.

YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST:

Christ has been pursuing me since day one, but I met someone as a freshman in high school whose life made me consider my conflicting belief systems and doubt regarding the importance of Christ. In about 3 months my life went thru a wonderful, radical transformation. This had social, behavioral and emotional implications, but ultimately my core changed from being about me and my needs to being about Him and living in His grace and for His glory. Today it is still the same daily battle of surrendering the old and taking on the new, but with such confidence that there is no better option out there. His rescue is true life...

WHY DO YOU LOVE TRINITY CHAPEL: Well, it truly is Christ alive in His people that fuels our love, but there are many nuances of TCBC that give it enhanced flavor from its emphasis on the arts, kids/youth, deepening relationships and teaching that engages the heart and mind!

WHY ARE YOU EXCITED TO SERVE IN THIS ROLE: To be available to serve in this context is an honor and I thrill at God's work as I step aside and let Him use me to serve His people.
