Common Cause

Common Cause is our intiative to encourage every Community Group to have a Common Cause that they do together.

We are also encouraging people to gather a group to do a Common Cause and then do a Community Group together. (*Not in a Community Group? Check out the numerous ministry opportunities and get involved: click here)

Here's the plan:

1. Identify a ministry (and/or recognize the ministries you’re already doing)
2. Get involved (fall, spring, summer)
3. Pray for those ministries weekly

Kinds of opportunities/suggestions

1. Take on an ongoing ministry (weekly children’s class or set up team)
2. Take on a task (helping with Angel Tree at Christmas/plan a retreat)
3. Go on a mission trip together
4. Create a ministry that is needed in the church or community
5. Take on two different tasks (the men teach a children’s class/the women do a Habitat project)
