Global Reach exists to encourage & provide opportunities to reach out & share Christ on a global scale, specifically in Belize, Africa, India, & the Middle East

Reaching out to the world around us is a part of what it means to be a follower of Christ. Some of the last words from the mouth of Jesus were that we should "go and make disciples of all the nations?" (Matthew 28:19) We have something incredible to share with the world: the life-changing news that God intersected human history in the person of Jesus Christ ...

Global Reach is our heart at Trinity Chapel is to share the reality of the incredible grace of God in Jesus Christ globally. We believe that we need to be focused and specific in this desire. So, we have identified four geographic target areas: India, Africa, the Middle East and Belize. We believe that as we continue to build relationships with missionaries and organizations serving in these areas, we will be able to impact the world for Christ. We will do this through:

• regular short term mission trips
• regular giving projects focused on reaching these areas
• encouraging those in our fellowship toward "full time" mission work
• supporting missionaries financially and otherwise

At present, we are:

• supporting a missionary in the Middle East (security issues require that we not publish the names of our Middle East partners)
• supporting two church planters in India
• supporting a pastor in southern Sudan
• working with a ministry in Belize to impact a Mayan village outside the capital of Belmopan

Upcoming projects include:

• a trip to southern Sudan and the Middle East in February 2007
• a trip to Belize in March 2007
• a trip to southern Sudan in the Summer 2007
• Global Reach Day at TCBC, February 25, 2007
