Serve the Body
Serve the Body exist to allow people within our church family to play significant roles in the church's various ministries, according to their gifts, passions, abilities, personalities, & experiences ...
The hope of the world is the church. Not the church as an institution! But, the church as the body of Christ, the hands and feet of Christ at work – serving, loving, sacrificing, giving. God designed us to live in community with other followers of Christ, and to love and serve others in the context of that community. A scan through the pages of the book of Acts reveals that the first followers of Christ were always serving and reaching out together. In 1 Corinthians 12, the picture of the body of Christ is not a lone “ear” or “eye” doing their thing but the “ear” and the “eye” and the “hand” working together for a common goal.
