Originally Dallas, but I have always claimed Fort Worth as my true home. Graduated from University of North Texas in 2002, with a business marketing major.
Co-owner of Dietrich Bros. Lawn Services LLC, a lawn care and landscaping company based in west and southwest Fort Worth
I have been married for 5 1/2 years to Rayshelle. We have an 18-month-old daughter, Emmeline.
When I accepted God's calling to move my wife and I to Trinity Chapel, my relationship with Jesus became much more challenging and exciting. I left a wonderful church where I was comfortable and happy; I enjoyed teaching and served in small ways on Sunday mornings. I was right where I wanted to be. It was then that God called me to step up and out. God was calling me to give up the path I was comfortable with, to seek a closer relationship with Him through following His desire for me and my family.
Since moving to Trinity Chapel almost 3 1/2 years ago, God has continued to present me with new challenges that have strengthened my faith and trust in Him. God's calling to serve in ways like student ministries or leading a Community Group have shown me that only through His strength can I serve others. Every time I have followed God's calling my eyes have been opened to the fact that God has so much more for me than I can see from my worldly viewpoint. I pray that as I continue to serve at Trinity Chapel that God will continue to challenge and teach me through the relationships and ministry opportunities I am a part of.
My vision is for Trinity Chapel to be a church body that lives in authentic community with each other, where church is not a building but a people living life together. I believe that community comes from sharing the ups and downs of life and looking for opportunities to serve others instead of waiting to be served.
Luke's description of the early church in Acts 2:46-47 exemplifies my vision for Trinity Chapel: "Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved."
I view my role first and foremost as an opportunity to serve God by seeking His will for the church body, and to serve the church body by putting God's desires before my own. As an elder I am called to guard the hearts of myself as well as those in our fellowship, as Acts 20:28 instructs us to do: "Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood."
