V56 (5th-6th Graders)

WELCOME TO V56!

The purpose of V56 is to see 5th- & 6th-grade students learn to be followers of Christ, living out their purpose as defined by Jesus Christ, as they begin to own their faith in Christ, embracing Him as savior & pursuing growth in Him as their own responsibility.

Ministry Philosophy

Our ministry philosophy is simple…Relationship. Through the avenue of relationships we administer truth and love in a relevant and exciting way. By understanding the student culture, we can love them better and explain God’s truth in ways that draw them closer to the living Christ.

7 Checkpoints

Throughout the 2 years a student participates in V56, they will be exposed to 7 checkpoints of their faith. The 7 checkpoints are as follows:

Authentic Faith
Spiritual Disciplines
Moral Boundaries
Healthy Friendships
Wise Choices
Others First
Ultimate Authority

These checkpoints allow us to teach the Gospel of Christ in ways that not only meet students where they are in life, but also help them to own the responsibility of their growth in Christ. Students learn that living out their purpose is up to them. God has an incredible life for them in His Son. They have the opportunity to take hold of that wonderful life and live.

V56 Events

Scheduled throughout the year, V56 events are designed to get students away from everyday life & encourage them in a setting that is not your typical "church way." Leaders, students, and even parents will be invited to get away for a day of fun, bonding, fellowship & encouragement.
