Trinity University

Feburary 11, 18, 25 | 11:15-12:10 pm

Trinity University is a three-week series of classes focused on specific topics we can study and dive into together. We pause our regularly scheduled Community Hour classes to allow the entire body to jump in and participate in Trinity University. Each week we will use scripture and other Biblical resources to guide our discussions around these two important topics. Join the conversation and let's grow together.

All classes are held at the church immediately following the worship service: February 11, 18, 25 at 11:15 am.

Sit, Walk, Stand

A Look at the Book of Ephesians

Did you know the book of Ephesians can be summarized in three words? Sit, Walk, Stand. These three words come directly out of the text of Ephesians and provide a good summary of the Christian life. This class will tackle our identity in Christ, our conduct as His followers, and the obstacles that stand in our way. If you like discussing how the complex becomes very practical, then you will love this class.

Faith and Art

The Spiritual Practice of Beauty

“In the beginning God created…and He saw that it was good.” As image bearers of Him we also have the ability to create and appreciate beauty.  In this class we will talk about art history and the role it has played as both an expression and function of the gospel message. We will also talk about our own call to notice and experience creative expression whether in word, architecture, song, engineering, or visual art. We will explore the sacred practice of beauty.
